It’s dry cough, irritating, contagious and epidemic, that happens mainly in the children (infantile cough) minor than 2 years. It’s a spasmodic, violent and suffocating, interrupted by prolonged and noisy inspirations. Is produced by the Bordetella pertussis bacterium. When the infected person sneezes or cough, expels small drops that contain the bacterium and that move through the air spreading the disease.
