Huamanpinta: It belongs to the family of Asteraceae. It is a wild bush, own of the mountains between 3000 and 4500 meter over the sea level. The infusion of huamanpinta is used as diuretic and against the blennorrhagia. This plant also relieves the affections of the prostate and the kidney. Put to boil and drink a cup three times a day.
Matico: Its main application is for cutting the hemorrhages and as anti-inflammatory. The pneumonia, internal hemorrhages, diarrheas with blood and dysentery are calm with matico. It is also used to treat the blennorrhagia and in washings in cases of hemorrhages in women, as well as fibroids, ulcers, etc. In all cases the leaves are used as infusion in dose of 8 to 10 grams by liter of water, two or three times a day.
