BLOWS IN THE HEAD – CHILDREN

It is a cranial traumatism by direct hit against some object. These blows in the head are very frequent in the children and you drink in them due to the lack of coordination of its movements. When it has always fallen is necessary to watch to the boy the first 48 hours, to know if the blow is important, in the inner skull it can have hematomas, hemorrhages and other injuries that tolerate great risks.

Recommendations
• To observe if there is loss of knowledge by several minutes.
• To see if the child has convulsions or is shaken.
• If the eyes present/display expanded pupils.
• If it speaks in uncoordinated, incoherent form, etc.
• To see if there is headache and if it does not send by one or two hours.
• If there are hemorrhages, can appear by nose, mouth, or heard.
